Zapatero denies any connection with the Plus Ultra bailout and defends the legality of his actions

Former Spanish Prime Minister José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero has denied any involvement in or mediation of the bailout of Venezuelan airline Plus Ultra during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. He also maintained that he acted in his capacity as an advisor "in accordance with the law."
