Sánchez states that he is working against the clock to approve the housing decree on Tuesday: "It is a matter of humanity"

BarcelonaPedro Sánchez has tried to send a message in response to street pressure for the Spanish government to approve the new housing decree this very Tuesday. In fact, he has sent the message directly to Maricarmen Abascal, who this Saturday demanded that he approve this regulation next week: "Maricarmen, I have a message for you: We are working against the clock to bring the royal housing decree next Tuesday". Sánchez has requested, in this sense, a "final effort" from the parliamentary groups to reach an agreement. "It is not a question of ideology, but of humanity", he defended at a PSOE event in Madrid to present his mayoral candidates for next year's municipal elections. Sánchez has also promised that on Tuesday the Council of Ministers will approve an extension until the end of the year for the measures included in the social shield that was approved a few months ago to deal with the war in Iran.
