Aiguafreda now officially belongs to the Osona region. The Parliamentary Assembly approved this Wednesday the bill to remove the municipality of 2,500 inhabitants from the Vallès Oriental region and place it in Osona, as residents voted in a 2022 referendum, with 60% support.
