Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban split after 19 years of marriage
The couple met in 2005 and have two daughters together.

The American media outlet TMZ has announced it exclusively, followed by other headlines such as People, Variety and Page SixThe couple have two daughters together: Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14. According to these media outlets, the decision to separate was made by Urban, who since late summer has been living in another house in Nashville, United States, where they also have their family home. The same magazines explain that Kidman opposed the separation and that her sister Antonia is helping her through the process.
The marriage to Urban was Kidman's second, who was married to Tom Cruise from 1990 to 2001. She met the country singer in 2005 and married a year and a half later in Australia in a Catholic ceremony with more than 200 guests. Their first daughter, Sunday Rose, was born in 2008, and their second, Faith Margaret, arrived via surrogate in 2010.
During the early months of their marriage, Kidman was very supportive of her husband's efforts to overcome his alcoholism and enter rehab. Later, in interviews, Urban explained on numerous occasions that his wife's help was key to overcoming his addiction. The couple has appeared to be close on numerous occasions. They have been seen together on numerous red carpets over the past two decades, at events such as the Met Gala and the Oscars.
Last June marked their 19th wedding anniversary. Kidman commemorated the occasion on Instagram, where she posted a black and white photo of the two of them together with the caption, "Happy birthday, darling." Urban didn't celebrate his birthday publicly. In fact, the last images of the singer with Kidman on his Instagram account were from last May.
