New tragedy in the Kennedy family: dies at 42 years old the grandniece of J.F.K.

Kennedy. And now the family is suffering a new tragedy. Her cousin, Kyle Kennedy, has died at the age of 42.

Kyle Kennedy (Washington, 1984) was the granddaughter of Robert Kennedy and daughter of Michael Kennedy, nephew of former president J.F.K., a lawyer and businessman who died in 1997 in a skiing accident. The daughter's death occurred a month ago, but it has not reached the media until now, after the family made her passing public through the funeral home.

A history graduate from Georgetown and a postgraduate from Harvard, Kyle Kennedy dedicated herself to early childhood education and worked for equitable and quality primary education. In 2020, she suffered a spinal cord injury that left her paralyzed, among other consequences. After the injury, she focused on the rights of people with disabilities. Kyle herself had previously suffered another tragedy upon losing her daughter Josie when she was just a few days old, while the twin survived. She currently had two pre-adolescent children.
