BarcelonaCard game already has its presenter handover ready, Marc Ribas. It will be Arnau París who will take the reins of the restaurant competition from next season, as announced by Que no surti d'aquí and confirmed to l'ARA TV3 and the presenter himself. Card game is one of the longest-running and most successful programs on Catalan public television. It began airing almost a decade ago, in 2017, and its ratings have never faltered. Proof of this are, for example, the data from this week's broadcast: the chapter dedicated to finding the best calçotada near Barcelona achieved a 21.7% market share – two points above the day's average – and 344,000 viewers.

In a recent interview with l'ARA, Marc Ribas had already hinted that his time at the helm of Card game was coming to an end and that he was starting to feel a bit like Pep Guardiola. "I feel like I'm emptying myself," he said. "When I do the end-of-year review, I always ask myself if I still have things to say, and I always think I do. Now, however, I don't know if I have more to say with Card game. And then it loses a bit of its meaning," explained Ribas, who pointed out that the filming process of the competition is tough "physically and emotionally".

Although they do not appear on screen together, Ribas and París share another TV3 program, Cuines, where together with Gessamí Caramés they teach Catalan viewers how to make recipes. On the program, París has specialized in making "quick recipes", simple dishes that can be made with few resources and little time.

Arnau París rose to fame when he won the ninth edition of MasterChef, the cooking competition on La 1. After his participation in this program, he received an offer to apply for a casting for Cuines. "I went crazy at that moment. When they send you that message, it's because they've been following you, because they've seen how you communicate and how you move. Then you have to live up to it in front of the camera, because one thing is doing something at home with your mobile and another is managing well on a set," he explained in an interview with l'ARA.
