Catalan enters as an official language in the public school of Zurich

The canton of Zurich (Switzerland) has incorporated Catalan as an official language in its Heritage Language and Culture (HSK) program, which will be taught from the 2026-2027 academic year. This is a milestone driven by the Catalan School of Zurich, key for the children of the Catalan community residing in Switzerland.
