Taiwan's Defense Ministry on Tuesday began live-fire defense maneuvers as China's military exercise around the island continue after tension sparked by Nancy Pelosi's visit.
As part of the strategy announced in last July by Taiwan to defend against a possible attack by the People's Liberation Army of China, Tien Lei drill has been launched after Taiwan condemned the expansion of Chinese maneuvers. "It's conducting large-scale military exercises, missile launches as well as cyber attacks in an attempt to weaken public morale in Taiwan, said Taiwan's Foreign Minister Joseph Wu.
