A section of Oxford Street of about 850 meters becomes pedestrian from this Monday

Oxford Street, London's main shopping street, has been closed to traffic this Monday for a stretch of about 850 metres in order to revitalize it. The project aims to attract major international brands –present in the surrounding area– and compete with online sales and the world's leading shopping hubs.
