Rubio: "The Greenlanders want independence [from Denmark] and we are ready to join forces."

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio asserted that Greenlanders want "independence" from Denmark and that the United States is "prepared" to reach some kind of "partnership" with Greenland. "They will make a decision," Rubio said at the NATO summit.
