Nine injured in emergency landing of Ryanair flight to Germany
The plane had to land due to a storm, and several people, including a two-year-old child, suffered bruises.

BarcelonaAt least nine people were injured when a plane was forced to make an emergency landing in southern Germany due to severe turbulence caused by a storm tonight, according to Reuters. The flight was a Ryanair flight bound for Milan.
According to a statement from Bavarian police, weather conditions caused the pilot to initiate an emergency landing in Memmingen, about 113 kilometers west of Munich. Although the plane landed safely, nine people aged between 2 and 59 were injured due to the air turbulence, according to police. One woman suffered a head injury, her two-year-old son suffered bruises, and another 59-year-old woman complained of back pain. All three received hospital treatment, the statement said. The other injured people were treated at the scene.
The airline is arranging a bus transfer to Milan because local aviation authorities have not authorized flights from Memmingen.
