Palamós will now be called Palamós i Sant Joan

The residents of Palamós have decided to change the town's name to include Sant Joan, after this option garnered 54% of the vote in a public consultation organized by the Town Hall regarding the name change. 1,650 people participated in the referendum out of the 17,000 eligible voters.
