The Spanish government makes the use of the surplus by the autonomous communities more flexible

The Council of Ministers has approved a royal decree-law that will allow autonomous communities to use the 2025 surplus so that they can allocate it to "essential" policies such as housing during 2026 and 2027, as explained by the Minister of Finance, Arcadi España, in a press conference.
