During the event, the CEEC, chaired by Quim Daura, presented the EmErgEnt and CEEC awards, recognizing the best initiatives in the sector. The EmErgEnt awards went to Irec's OXHYD project in the Seed category and to PivotBuoy in the Product category. The CEEC also awarded the Communication Award to Georgina Ferri, director of BTV; the Best Solidarity Initiative award to Mua Solidaris, a Terrassa-based NGO fighting childhood cancer; the Best Business Project award to the La Ballena Alegre campsite in San Pedro Pescador, the most sustainable in Europe thanks to its photovoltaic panel and battery system; and the Business Achievement Award to Ramon Comellas, president of Circutor.
