The price per square meter in this municipality in the Ribera d'Ebre region is €747, while the average in Catalonia is €2,739. This means the price per square meter in Móra d'Ebre is 73% below the Catalan average. However, housing prices in Catalonia are among the highest in Spain, according to this portal, surpassed only by the Community of Madrid, at €4,491 per square meter, and the Basque Country, at €3,376. According to the ranking, Catalonia has no municipalities among the 20 cheapest in Spain. The cheapest municipality in Spain to buy a home is located in the province of Ciudad Real. Specifically, Almadén has the most affordable square meter, as home sellers in the municipality ask for an average of 335 euros/m²2The podium of the three most affordable municipalities is completed by two more from Ciudad Real: Almodóvar del Campo, where the price per square meter is €427, and Socuéllamos, where it reaches €460.
