Frit Ravich expands its plant in Maçanet de la Selva

The location was chosen last year, and buildings adjacent to the headquarters were demolished. Recently, the detailed design phase was launched to define and plan the foundations of the new 38,000-square-meter complex. According to the company, the new facilities will guarantee the company's operational capacity until 2040. The company consolidated its growth and increased its investments last year by 14%, to 8 million euros. Part of this amount was allocated to the start of the expansion work. The bulk of the resources were used to increase production capacity, especially for potato chips and... snacksand to increase new technological solutions to improve the efficiency and management of production processes.
The company, led by Judith Viader, increased its revenue by 8% last year, reaching €359 million. Frit Ravich benefited from its model that combines production and distribution, thanks to the boost from both its own brands and the expansion of its third-party product catalog.
The company, which plans to continue investing in sustainability, closed the last fiscal year with a total of 1,300 employees, distributed between its headquarters, which houses the logistics plant, the production plant, and the offices; its 38 sales branches; and its subsidiary in France.
