Booking removes 4,000 illegal vacation rental listings at the request of the Spanish government.

The travel booking site Booking.com has removed more than 4,000 illegal listings for vacation apartments in Spain from its website after receiving a request from the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, the Spanish government announced Thursday.
