The Sant Jordi Prize is worth 75,000 euros and becomes the most highly endowed prize in Catalan literature.

The Sant Jordi Novel Prize will be, in the next edition, the most highly endowed award in Catalan literature. Univers and Òmnium Cultural have increased its prize to 75,000 euros. Thus, 60,000 euros will be distributed directly to the author and another 15,000 euros will be paid as an advance on royalties.
