The Generalitat buys one of the most emblematic paintings by Pere Borrell

The Department of Culture has acquired Escaping Criticism II, a painting by Pere Borrell del Caso, one of the most iconic works of 19th-century Catalan painting. The work, from 1876, has been acquired for 130,000 euros and will be integrated into the National Collection of the Generalitat.
