A love story in the desert: Rosalía releases the music video for 'Sauvignon Blanc'

BarcelonaRosalía released a new music video on Wednesday afternoon from his latest album, LuxIt's a ballad. Sauvignon Blanc, which she created with photographer and director Noah Dillon, who is responsible for the cover and the white and angelic aesthetic of the Lux Era by Rosalía.

The video shows Rosalía lying on the ground in a desert landscape, from which she is rescued by an invisible presence. The song's lyrics tell a romantic tale in which she affirms that she could renounce all material wealth if she had the lover. "Emotional and spiritual intimacy becomes the true currency," says her record label, which highlights the simplicity and rawness of the images. At the end of the video, a car is seen burning, as the song says:My light / I will take it / with the Rolls-Royce / that I will cremate".

This is the third music video released by the Catalan singer, following the impressive teaser of Berghain and of The PearlThe release comes ahead of the start of her 2026 tour, which kicks off in France on March 16, lands in Barcelona in April, and continues in June to Miami, with stops in London, Amsterdam, Berlin, Lisbon, and Madrid. Before that, Rosalía will perform at the Brit Awards on February 28 and will grace the cover of [the magazine/publication name].
