The magician Pop visits NASA in search of inspiration for his next show

BarcelonaAntonio Díaz, El Mago Pop, has visited NASA's Johnson Space Center in Houston (United States) while working on a new show that his team has described as "one of the most ambitious illusions of his career." The visit to the Johnson Space Center became "an extraordinary source of inspiration and research for a project" that the illusionist's team still keeps secret. Díaz, who during the visit was able to access different facilities in the complex, is currently immersed in the creation of his next world stadium tour, a project with which he intends to push "the boundaries of magic and spectacle on an unprecedented scale.

In a statement, they explain that one of the most exciting moments took place in the historic Mission Control of the Apollo missions, the place from which the man's arrival on the Moon was coordinated. There, El Mago Pop was welcomed by numerous engineers, technicians, and NASA professionals who wanted to personally greet him. The room read "Welcome El Mago Pop".

Within this creative process for his new project, the artist is working on the development of one of the illusions "most ambitious of his entire career, a challenge related to space, technology, and some of the principles that have allowed humans to go much further than for centuries seemed possible." The nature of the new illusion will remain a mystery. Díaz's team has only revealed that to make it a reality, it will be necessary to go "beyond the traditional boundaries of magic." "And perhaps, this time, also beyond the limits of Earth," he concludes.

In addition to the new show, Mago Pop also has new business projects. In June, he announced that he had partnered with singer Aitana to buy the Teatre Aquitània in Barcelona, a 326-seat venue located at 33 Sarrià Avenue.
