The heatwave leaves the first records in Catalonia

Catalonia has surpassed 43 ºC today for the first time this year, specifically in Ribera d'Ebre and Priorat. Up to six Meteocat stations in the southern interior and Ponent with more than twenty years of data have broken their absolute record. Vinebre's 43.7 ºC stand out as the highest maximum of the day.
