The cloudiness will increase, although no episode of rain is expected

BarcelonaThis Tuesday's weather was radically different from Monday's, with a clear dominance of the sun, and this Wednesday the novelty will be the presence of clouds that will be abundant during the morning, but which will lose the battle against the sun during the afternoon. Nevertheless, only a few isolated and unimportant drizzles are expected.

Wednesday: morning with many clouds

The weather will remain quite stable as the week progresses, although this Wednesday there will be more cloud cover, leaving the sky overcast in many regions during the morning. Clouds, in any case, will be mostly harmless, and will only leave some scattered showers or isolated drizzles. The temperature will drop on the coast and pre-coast, while it will rise slightly in the western regions and notably in some parts of the northern regions of the country. The afternoon will be much sunnier, with the sun gaining ground from west to east from midday onwards and a wind that could be moderate or strong in many regions.

This wind with moderate or strong gusts has prompted the activation of a warning by the Meteorological Service of Catalonia, level 1/6 (the lowest). The warning covers the regions of the Pyrenees and Segrià, Pla d'Urgell, Urgell and Segarra.

Thursday: temperature rises

Clouds could make a comeback on Thursday, with some intervals of medium clouds moving from southwest to northeast. However, as will happen on Wednesday, no precipitation is expected, except for some isolated showers in the western Pyrenees during the afternoon. The temperature will rise and reach 35 ºC in Ponent and Empordà, before dropping again on Friday.
