Atypically normal

The rains and strong winds of recent weeks in the Camp de Tarragona region have left the impression that the exceptional is becoming the norm. The Riudecanyes reservoir is the best example of this: in just one year, it has gone from being practically empty (1.6% at the end of October 2024) to nearly 100% capacity, which has even required additional spending. The Camp de Tarragona is building up reserves, but uncertainty is growing in the face of an increasingly unpredictable climate. This seemingly atypical scenario points to a new normal marked by extremes.
