Revolver Discos' farewell and a new crime series: what you can't miss this week
What you may have missed and what you definitely can't miss: the cultural and leisure activities of 'Ara Domingo'
The week that begins, with Jordi Garrigós
Some of the things we hope not to miss in the next seven days
I will listen Alondra's new single,City girls, with the collaboration of Habla de Mí en Presente. This duo, formed by Giulietta Vidal and Irene Romo, who met at the Taller de Músics, is one of the great discoveries I made at the recent Vida Festival. And what luck to have stumbled upon this band, which combines tradition and modernity with such joy and good taste. Their latest release is this Catalan rumba, an ode to the city—Barcelona—with all its good and bad. They will release their first album in the fall.
I'll say goodbye Discos Revolver, the record store on Calle Tallers in Barcelona. With its closure, scheduled for the end of July, almost 44 years of one of Barcelona's finest selections of popular music come to an end. Those who still enjoy the physical format are very few, from the historic ones—Daily Records, Discos 100, Surco—and they must be preserved for what they are: a treasure.
I will visit The Ateneo de la Barraqueta de Gràcia, one of the hot spots for popular resistance in the city. After almost a year of renovations, the long-awaited return of this emblem of the local community reopens without leaving Plaça del Raspall. A corner of resistance that hosts many neighborhood initiatives, from the popular heartland to the labor assembly, and with a constantly active agenda of events and talks. They also manage Resolís, a bar that is a legend in southern Gràcia.

Notes on what we have seen, heard, tasted and, ultimately, experienced in the last seven days
I have enjoyed Much of the culinary offering at La Fonda de Pirenaicas, on Teruel de Gràcia Street, is a must. The owners of the successful Mantequerías Pirenaicas have opened this restaurant dedicated to Catalan cuisine, ideal for sharing and enjoying with a group, with honest prices and friendly, welcoming service. Trout is a signature dish, and the version they make with truffle is excellent, as are other menu classics such as macaroni, meatballs, and artichokes. Their cheesecake is worth saving room for dessert.
I liked it Filmin's new crime series Inspector EllisAs a die-hard fan of the crime genre, I try to follow all the new developments as soon as they appear, and the three episodes of this miniseries—though long—can be watched in no time. The investigator who gives the series its name is a strong-willed woman who rarely smiles and is sent to different police stations in England to solve murder cases. The series has set a milestone in the United Kingdom, being the first detective fiction series starring a Black woman alone.
I have gone let's see Sea and sky At the Teatre Victòria, 30 years after the first performance, in the same theater. The big difference is that this time I went with my children. Seeing their excitement at the songs and iconic scenes was worthwhile and confirmed that we are witnessing a play that is part of the country's popular culture and unites generations.
I couldn't stop thinking about The 80th birthday of Debbie Harry, the Blondie singer, who remains a symbol of style and irreverence at her age, something evident in her Gucci campaign shot by legendary photographer Nan Goldin. Harry has embodied the punk spirit throughout her career, embracing a certain aesthetic contradiction between her good-girl face and the provocative attitude that has always accompanied her. With Blondie, she managed to sell 40 million records.
