Music with a spirit of solidarity
There are festivals that offer much more than a cultural experience; they are initiatives that aim to contribute to the improvement of society, allocating profits to charitable causes.

There are various charitable cultural initiatives such as MUSICVEU and VALLVIVA. The best culture accompanied by charitable projects.VALLVIVA(valviva.cat) is five days of nature, gastronomy, music, art, culture, and a whole lot of solidarity from July 9th to 13th. It's a festival born with the desire to create connections and share. When Eudald Morera—president of the Vallviva Foundation and director of the festival—was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, he thought of creating a celebratory space that fostered relationships between people in a privileged setting like the Vall d'en Bas. The goal wasn't financial or commercial gain; therefore, all proceeds go entirely to cancer research.
The festival grows year after year, now boasting four stages, a dozen concerts, 250 partner companies, and 100 volunteers, but it remains true to its original vision of offering a unique, responsible experience in close connection with nature. VALLVIVA's audience, in addition to contributing to a charitable cause, enjoys an excellent musical offering—Tony Ann, Luz Casal, Sopa de Cabra, God Save the Queen, and Bruno Oro—plus zero-mile cuisine and the opportunity to enjoy Michelin-starred restaurants.
From the end of May until September 27th, we have another of the solidarity festivals that is constantly growing.MUSICVEU Solidarity Festival(musicveu.cat) is settling into the Penedès region with a cultural offering that boasts added social and charitable values. This 11th edition has everything you'd expect from a top-level festival, including quality music from Rozalén, Marc Parrot, Elena Gadel, Paula Koops, and The Blow Monkeys, among others. It also features a charity dinner (June 27) in one of Codorníu's most iconic venues, Celler Gran, with an exceptional menu and the satisfaction of knowing that all proceeds will go to the SOM SALUT MENTAL 360 platform (som360.org) promoted by San Juan Dios. It is a digital platform created with the aim of raising awareness, supporting, informing, educating, and promoting health and emotional well-being.
There are also festivals that are not born with a charitable purpose, but dedicate a night or part of their programming to charitable causes. This is the case ofALMA Festival Barcelona(almafestival.info), which organizes an exclusive dinner-concert by Pastora Soler in the usual festival setting, the Poble Espanyol.
Cabo Rojo SolidarioIt is the project that extends to all the shows of the Cap Roig Festival (caproigfestival.com), the other summer event, which, coinciding with its 25th anniversary, aims to allocate part of the profits from all concerts to social projects run by organisations in Girona and the Baix Empordà region.
