Renewable benefits for seniors
If you already received rental assistance years ago, you may be able to continue receiving it.
What is it?
Non-repayable aid to cover rent for low- or moderate-income seniors who had already received assistance in previous years.
For whom?
People who:
- In 2010 received a favorable resolution
- Were 65 years of age or older on 12/31/2012
- They were already beneficiaries during 2024
Subsidies for private market rentals
For people awaiting rehousing or in a social emergency situation.
What is it?
A subsidy to cover the rent of a private housing market, managed by entities or administrations, intended for vulnerable people.
For whom?
- Individuals with a favorable resolution from the Emergency Board or in the process of intermediation.
- Entities or municipalities that house people awaiting rehousing or experiencing homelessness.
Compensation for landlords with unpaid rent
There is also assistance for landlords who do not collect rent.
What is it?
Compensation for property owners or landlords affected by the suspension of evictions resulting from Royal Decree-Law 11/2020, due to economic vulnerability.
For whom?
Owners and landlords who have had their eviction proceedings suspended due to a recognized situation of vulnerability and no housing alternative.
