The UOC will study which variables of bilingualism in Catalan and Spanish speakers prevent dementia

The Universitat Oberta de Catalunya will study different types of bilingualism in Catalan and Spanish speakers and determine which of its variables can contribute to preventing dementia. Previous studies have shown that speaking more than one language helps delay the onset of symptoms.
