The socialist Paeria of Lleida proposes to ban the use of the burqa

The socialist government of the Paeria de Lleida has presented the proposal for an ordinance on civility and coexistence that foresees, among other things, prohibiting the use of the full veil in public spaces and municipal offices. In previous attempts to ban the burqa, the Supreme Court overturned the initiative as illegal.
