The Mossos investigate the crime of a 75-year-old woman found in a cornfield in Segrià
The agents have found the victim in Soses, after her disappearance was reported
BarcelonaThe Mossos d'Esquadra are investigating the violent death of a 75-year-old woman found last night in Soses, in Segrià.
Around 10:45 PM, the Catalan police received a report informing them of the disappearance of a woman in the town in the province of Lleida. Immediately, the agents began searching for the woman, whom they unfortunately found dead. The officers dispatched to the scene were able to confirm that it was a death with signs of violence.
According to various sources who spoke to the ACN, the woman had gone out in the evening to walk the dog and they found her dead in a cornfield next to the LP-7041 road coming from Aitona. The City Council has announced the woman's death through municipal loudspeakers spread throughout the town, has called for a minute of silence at 12 PM, and has decreed three days of official mourning.
The case is under the secrecy of the proceedings and the Criminal Investigation Division (DIC) of the Mossos is investigating the facts.
