BarcelonaFirst day of statements in the Andic case. This Tuesday morning, several people related to the case investigating the death of Mango founder Isak Andic are appearing before the Martorell courts, such as the therapist who treated the family or the two hikers who found the son, Jonathan Andic, moments after his father's death. These two men had not yet testified and did so for the first time this Tuesday.

According to judicial sources, they met Jonathan Andic while he was speaking to the emergency services after his father's fall. The same sources indicate that they saw him "in shock," "affected," and "blocked." One of the hikers, in fact, also spoke to the emergency services to help provide the coordinates of their location. Judicial sources add that the two witnesses have described how the son explained at that moment to the emergency services that he was walking ahead of his father and heard stones falling.

The hikers explained, according to judicial sources, that they did this route once a year and that they do not consider it dangerous. At the same time, however, they indicated that at the exact point of the fall, you can fall down a slope if you lose the path. They also described that one of them accompanied Jonathan Andic to the Collbató car park, where the Generalitat Firefighters were already present, and the other stayed up. Afterwards, they continued with their route.

Initially, the Mossos did not take statements from these hikers because they could not locate them, but, finally, they were summoned last week.

After them, it was the turn of the Andic therapist, who testified for two hours and forty minutes. Now their sister, who also helped them with some tasks, is testifying. The stepmother of Jonathan Andic and widow of Isak Andic, who will also testify, has also arrived at the Martorell courts. Friday will be the turn of Jonathan Andic's sisters and some Mango executives.
