The Barcelona Court of Appeals has begun trial of a taxi driver accused of raping an Irish tourist he was driving to his hotel on the night of September 1, 2023. The man will testify next Friday and faces 12 years in prison and disqualification from working as a taxi driver for the assault on the client.
