A swimmer dies on Llevant beach in Cunit

A 50-year-old man died this Thursday afternoon on Llevant beach in Cunit, a patrolled beach where there was a red flag. The 112 received a call at 1:53 p.m., explaining that the lifeguard had pulled an unconscious man out of the water and was performing resuscitation maneuvers on him.
