Mother and daughter murdered, presumably by the father, in Alicante

The Civil Guard is investigating the death of a woman and one of her daughters in El Fenollar (Alicante), allegedly at the hands of the father. The Civil Guard has arrested the man, who is now hospitalized with stab wounds, and is investigating the events as a possible case of gender-based violence.
