A man arrested for raping his 20-year-old daughter on the street.

BarcelonaPolice have arrested a 40-year-old man in Lleida for allegedly sexually assaulting his 20-year-old daughter in the street. The victim's eight-year-old son, the brother of the detainee, was also in the area. According to the newspaper Segre and confirmed by ARA, the incident occurred at 3:00 a.m. on Saturday outside the La Lonja convention center on Avenida Tortosa.

Specifically, a patrol of the Guardia Urbana saw a man having sex with a woman in the street, and when they identified them, they saw that they were father and daughter. The young woman later explained to the police that her father was forcing her. The local police referred the case to the Mossos d'Esquadra (Catalan police), who will expand their investigation.

The girl was taken to Arnau de Vilanova Hospital to undergo medical identification, and the child was handed over to the mother. The Mossos d'Esquadra will now investigate whether the man has abused his daughter on other occasions. The suspect is accused of sexual assault with penetration. He was brought before a court on Monday.
