BarcelonaThe aggressors of the Barcelona pedophilia network They were aware that the young woman they were raping and recording was a minor, according to messages in a police report to which EFE has had access. "Is this your first 14-year-old girl?" is one of the messages that one of the accused exchanged with the brain of the framework, TLM, through social media. He was the one who, in addition to sexually assaulting the girl, also arranged meetings with other pedophiles to rape her.

The document records another conversation in which one of the rapists complained that he had been fined 600 euros for breaking the restrictions imposed by the coronavirus when in February 2021, in the middle of the pandemic, he went to TLM's apartment in Barcelona to sexually assault the minor. "It cost me 600 euros..." lamented the suspect in a message. The mastermind of the plot replied: "She's 13 [years old], she's worth this and more." Another of the messages exchanged by the suspects referred to the victim's youth: "Well, I met her when she was 13 recently."

Furthermore, according to the information provided by The Newspaper, one of the accused reproached TLM for recording him raping the minor: "You don't know when the girl might open her mouth and your life might go to shit." In one of the messages, he admitted that he knew the victim's age: "I'm not threatening you or anything, but for your own good, don't record anyone, much less having sex with a minor."

According to the police reports on the case, some of those investigated defended themselves by saying that they didn't know the victim was under 18, a version that contrasts with what they stated in the conversations they had between them on social media. In fact, a police report consulted by EFE about one of the alleged sexual aggressors—who was identified by the tattoos seen in one of the seized videos—maintains that he should have been aware that the victim was "clearly" a minor due to her "little" physical development.

According to the case file, the suspects were also aware of the minor's vulnerable situation, as she was in the custody of the General Directorate for Child and Adolescent Care (DGAIA) of the Catalan government. One of them commented: "She's in a center; she's in a bad way."
