Detected at least 16 cases of West Nile fever in animals in Almacelles and Pau

At least 16 horses have tested positive for West Nile fever in Catalonia this week. Specifically, there are 11 in Almacelles (Segrià) and 5 in Pau (Alt Empordà), as reported by the newspaper Segre and confirmed by the Department of Agriculture. The confirmation date for the cases is Wednesday.
