Brussels creates an app so that websites can verify users' age

The President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, announced this Wednesday that the European Union will "soon" launch an application that will verify the age of internet users and, web portals that wish to do so, will be able to use it to know the age of internet users securely.
