The PP asks to indict the PSOE for illegal financing at the gates of the electoral campaign

MadridOnly twenty-four hours after the announcement of early elections, the PP has activated judicial proceedings against the PSOE. The Popular Party has registered a document at the National Court demanding the indictment of the socialists for the crimes of illegal financing, bribery, influence peddling, money laundering, and embezzlement. It has done so as a popular prosecutor in the case being investigated by magistrate Santiago Pedraz regarding the cash payments of the party led by Pedro Sánchez. With this move, the Popular Party is going all out against the PSOE at the gates of an electoral campaign in which they intend to once again position the corruption surrounding Sánchez as one of the central issues.
