BarcelonaCarlo G. Angrisano, until now number two of Noves Generacions, has announced that he is leaving the position of general secretary. According to what he announced in a video posted on X, he considers that "the PP has stopped defending the values" for which he joined. "For consistency, I ask for your vote for Vox," he added. Angrisano assures that he joined the PP in 2012 from Barcelona "out of love for Spain, its identity, its history, its freedom and the dignity of our people" because all of this, he says, was being "questioned and trampled by separatism". "I was one of many Spaniards convinced that the Popular Party had to protect the best of our country," added the number two of the PP's youth wing.

Now, however, Angrisano considers that the party is no longer what it used to be and that the only option is Vox. "Parties don't start losing when they stop winning elections, but when they stop knowing what they are defending," he added. "And when a political project is more afraid of losing votes than defending what is right, it ends up losing both," he laments. For all these reasons, he asks for votes for Santiago Abascal's party because its ideas "remain firm" and its "principles unshakeable": "The place from which they can be defended has changed". "It is time to defend our ideas and Spain without fear," concluded Angrisano. According to La Razón, the PP had already dismissed Angrisano from his position as advisor to the European Parliament this summer.
