The Provincial Court of A Coruña has acquitted the former head of traffic safety at Adif (Spain's railway infrastructure manager) in the 2013 Angrois train crash case. The court believes he acted in accordance with the established standards for commissioning new lines. He had been convicted of 79 counts of manslaughter and 143 counts of causing serious injury through gross negligence.
