The Catalan People's Party (PP) is attacking the Spanish government's "erratic" actions with the takeover bid.

The PP spokesperson in Parliament, Juan Fernández, criticized the state government's handling of the BBVA takeover bid for Sabadell on Wednesday: "The government's actions in this matter have been very erratic," he said, although he refrained from criticizing the Cabinet's measures in this regard.
