A defector councilor ends 26 years of Junts mayorship in Perafort

Jordi Cacho (ERC) has taken over from Joan Martí Pla (Junts), who had been mayor of Perafort since 1999, after a no-confidence motion succeeded, which was supported by FIC councilor Lluís Massagués and the renegade councilor Elisabet Albujar, who was Junts' number two.
