Rafael Pérez, Marlaska's second-in-command at the Interior Ministry, resigns.

Secretary of State for Security Rafael Pérez submitted his resignation to Interior Minister Fernando Grande-Marlaska today. According to the ministry, he is doing so for personal reasons. Pérez served as Chief of Staff since July 2018 and as Deputy Chief of Staff since January 2020.
