Both progressive candidates resign from presiding over the Supreme Court's criminal and administrative court.

Ana Ferrer and Pilar Teso, from the progressive sector, have resigned as presidents of the Supreme Court's criminal and administrative disputes division, according to El País and confirmed by ARA. This leaves the way open for judges Andrés Martínez Arrieta and Pablo Lucas.
