Ketty Garat, the new star of the fashosphere

Ketty Garat has become a new shining star of the 'fatxosfera' (right-wing sphere). In one of her latest appearances on Federico Jiménez Losantos' program, he asks her, as the daughter of a military man, what her opinion is of the photograph taken of King Felipe VI with the Minister of Defense, Margarita Robles, and the heads of the three branches of the armed forces: land, sea, and air. And Garat replies: "My father was not only an admiral, but also a member of the Navy leadership, and that forces me to be prudent, but I have my own personal opinion. There is a deep conviction right now, not only in the military sphere but also in the realm of justice, of the Prosecutor's Office, that this government is a democratic danger, it is a threat to democracy".

Ketty Garat (El Ferrol, 1982) knows perfectly well what she is talking about. What she may not be as conscious of is that from her words what is understood is that there is an active judicial coupism, which perhaps she and Losantos would like to see extended also to the military sphere, against Pedro Sánchez's government, and that she justifies it and benefits from it in the form of interested leaks. It is, in fact, a situation very similar to that which was experienced in Catalonia during the 'Procés': the judges, erected as defenders of the State, did not hesitate to skip all democratic procedures with the excuse of saving, precisely, democracy. It is certain that Garat must also think that she is doing a great patriotic job and defending democracy by uncovering the supposed dirty laundry of the Spanish government while turning a blind eye to that of the opposition.
