The new installment of the Grand theft auto saga was first shown in December 2023 in a trailer that has accumulated almost 300 million views, and that is only counting those from the official account. Since then it has monopolized much of the sector's conversation, to the point of altering the release calendar when its definitive publication date was set. Its influence cannot be denied, because the previous installment, GTA V (2013), achieved stratospheric figures and snuck onto the podium of the best-selling games in history, with 230 million units, behind big names like Minecraft and Tetris (if we add all its versions). Many relevant releases have accumulated in September and October to dodge the long shadow of the Rockstar superproduction, but we have found alternatives for people looking for something different.

1.
‘World of Warcraft: Forever’

November 4th

PC
1 WoW Forever

WoW: Forever is the rebirth of the world-famous MMORPG (massively multiplayer online role-playing game) by Blizzard Entertainment. The original title, released in 2004 and still active, fluctuates around 10 million active monthly users and has always sought new ways to reinvent itself. With WoW: Classic (2019) the game's timeline was reset, but the proposal of the new Forever is to recover the experience that captivated the players of the original WoW and not evolve its universe. The idea is to preserve a more authentic and simple format for nostalgics who are looking for feelings from other times.

2.
‘Cozy game restoration’

November 4

PC
2 Cozy Game Restoration

Without abandoning nostalgia, as its name suggests, the following title is a relaxing simulator in which the player is dedicated to cleaning and restoring retro video game cartridges. A gameplay that appeals both to the senses and to the collector within us. Its demo version has been a phenomenon on the Steam platform and, as a highlight, it arrives with an official translation into Catalan.

3.
‘Void/Breaker’

November 4th

PC, Switch 2, PS5, Xbox Series
3 Void Breaker

After The Entropy Centre, solo developer Daniel Stubbington (Stubby Games) teams up again with the label Playstack, behind other major hits like Balatro. Void/Breaker is a fast-paced first-person shooter with roguelite elements, which give rise to a very deep weapon customization system. This indie game was released in early access in 2025 and has received very good reviews, and now it arrives with its 1.0 version.

4.
‘The legend of Zelda: Ocarina of time’

November 5

Switch 2
4 Zelda Ocarina of Time

Only a hero like Link could overshadow the industry's big blockbuster and schedule his release a couple of weeks earlier. Not many games can say they are considered among the best in history, but The legend of Zelda: Ocarina of time (1998), released for the Nintendo 64, is one. This remake is updated with more realistic-looking graphics and many new features exclusively for the Switch 2. Furthermore, it arrives in the midst of the franchise's 40th anniversary celebration.

5.
‘Warhammer Survivors’

November 10

PC, Switch 2, PS5, Xbox Series
5 Warhammer Survivors

A proposal that merges the Warhammer universe with the viral formula of the bullet heaven genre, which was popularized by Vampire survivors (2022). In fact, Poncle, creator of the latter title, has partnered with Games Workshop to carry out the project, which is being developed by Auroch Digital (also responsible for Warhammer 40.000: Boltgun). The new Survivors allows you to embody more than 40 iconic characters from Warhammer 40.000 and Age of Sigmar to take down infinite waves of enemies and, furthermore, it is coming to all platforms, including mobile ones.

6.
‘Football manager 27’

November 10

PC, PS5, Xbox Series
6 Football Manager 27

A new installment of a very popular saga with a lot of history, centralized on the sports management of a football team. This edition incorporates significant changes with the transition to the Unity engine and a deep optimization of the interface. Developed by London-based Sports Interactive and published by Sega, it offers a free access period prior to the launch to be able to test the game without limits.

7.
‘Barbie rewind’

November 12

PC, Switch 2, PS5, Xbox Series
7 Barbie Rewind

One of the most curious proposals of the month, and the first to dare to announce its date in November without fear of the new GTA. We are not talking about just any family game, but a collection of 16 classic games from the iconic doll's franchise. The titles, from between 1991 and 2007, include one never before published, which turns Barbie rewind into a kind of museum with a very powerful cultural and historical value. The project is published by Atari and led by Digital Eclipse, masters of preservation who have already published several titles with similar characteristics, such as Atari 50 and Tetris forever.

8.
‘Grand theft auto VI’

November 19

PS5, Xbox Series
8 Grand Theft Auto VI GTA6

The most important game of the year, surely of the decade, and one that will most likely make history with sales records. The new Rockstar superproduction has been in development for approximately a decade and shows an excessive ambition, incomparable to any other current title. The new Grand Theft Auto narrates a new criminal adventure set in Vice City, inspired by Miami (Florida), and presents two new playable characters: Jason, a former soldier, and Lucia, the first great female protagonist of the saga. For now, it arrives on Sony and Microsoft consoles, awaiting the announcement of a PC version.
