The Madrid Court has dismissed the case against comic Quequé for comments made on his SER program in which he suggested stoning pedophile priests with stones from the Valley of the Fallen. Filed by Christian Lawyers, this is the umpteenth complaint from this far-right group that is slamming into the harsh reality. The book didn't go anywhere. Baby Jesus doesn't hate sissies, nor with the procession of the Holy Rebel Chumino of Malaga or that of the Insubordinate Pussy of Seville. They failed in their legal action against Judit Martin and theIt's happening for the Virgin of Rocío. They have also dismissed the charges against Leo Bassi, against Mongolia and even against two high school teachers who dared to dress up as nuns. Now that's what they are. successes in a row, and not the M80 ones.
It's clear that the parish should have the right to go to court as many times as it feels its rights have been violated. But, given a certain accumulation of defeats, the justice system should rise up against its obvious exploitation. Not to mention the waste of public resources. This entity doesn't seem to seek favorable rulings, but only to bring stomachache, uncertainty, and the financial expense of having to go through a judicial process. If they're so Christian, perhaps they should follow the gospels of Luke and Matthew and advocate turning the other cheek, instead of surrendering to the law of retaliation to try to pluck out the eye of the dissenter. The judiciary may be tied hand and foot to prevent this ordeal of complaints, but legislators would certainly make it much easier for their lordships if they would once and for all bury the anachronistic crime of offending religious feelings.
