ChatGPT will allow the generation of erotic content starting in December.
This feature will only be available to those who verify that they are of legal age.

BarcelonaConsultant, confidant, friend, psychologist... and now also a lover? Artificial intelligence is expanding its scope, and OpenAI, responsible for ChatGPT, is the first to openly enter the realm of explicit sexuality. As confirmed, starting in December it will allow the generation of erotic content. To use this feature, users will have to verify that they are over 18 years old. The new version allows users to change the chat personality to make it more like an adult. Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI, says he wants to "treat adult users like adults," as he mentions on the X platform (formerly Twitter). They are also developing technology that can estimate a user's age based on their interactions.
The company promises that they will be very restrictive with age verification, although it doesn't provide technical details. Minors will not be able to generate this type of content, and their experience will be different from that of an adult. With this change, they're also implementing improved options: responding in a much more human way, using more emoticons, or acting like a friend. In other words, humanizing the chat much more, but, they claim, with greater security.
Altman also wanted to explain that they are cautious about mental health and that they want to continue improving. Lately, young people and teenagers are turning to AI to act as their psychologist, which has generated criticism among professionals. Although this technology is trained so that in delicate situations, the response includes redirecting attention to help from the emergency services, these messages don't always appear. "0.1% of a billion is still a million," admitted the CEO of the American company, referring to the fact that, although the majority of users don't have problems with the issue, the small percentage that do represents a significant number of people.
