The social democratic leader of Sweden gives up on trying to form a government

The Swedish social democratic leader, Magdalena Andersson, announced this Monday that she is renouncing for now the attempt to form a government, ten days after having received the mandate. Andersson leads the left-wing bloc that won the legislative elections on September 13.
